Workshop on Cartooning by Satish Acharya

A workshop on cartooning was conducted by popular cartoonist Satish Acharya on November 17, 2018 at the Institute premises. An exhibition of some of his most popular work was also held at the Institute for two days.

The exhibition was inaugurated by by Prof (Dr) Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice Chancellor, Nitte (Deemed to be University) and had free entry. The exhibition featured 150 of his best cartoons published over the years.

As part of the Workshop, a talk by Satish Acharya on changing landscapes in editorial cartooning was also held.
