An interactive session was conducted with alumnus, Albert Anthony at the Institute premises on 29th August 2023. Albert who belonged to the BA 2016-19 batch, is now working as Assistant Director / Director of Photography in Mumbai.

Speaking to students, he said the best way to get into the film industry was by working on your portfolio & making sure you have some good work to show filmmakers. It could be something as simple as a short video or reel made for Instagram, a well shot set of pictures, or even a well-made assignment. He encouraged them to help each other build portfolios and work in each other's projects. "The film industry is always on the lookout for talent and if you are willing to work hard and be on your toes, there is nothing that could stop you", he said.

The interactive session was followed by a Question & Answer session where students wanted to know how it was working with celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon or Sara Ali Khan, all of whom he has worked with at different times. He also shared with students his contact details and promised to help them with internships & projects.
